Review: The Gallows (2015)

Despite looking forward to seeing THE GALLOWS and hoping to enjoy another found footage theatrical release, even Doc Rotten is appalled by what crawled up onto the big screen and took a giant dump. Ugh. Thomas proclaims The Gallows the worst film of 2015. The Black Saint even thinks it out-stinks Area 51. It is a sad day at HNR. You are going to want to hear this one.

The extended geektastic weekend starts off with an incredible new Batman v Superman trailer that provided more tone and characters, including the first look at Wonder Woman in action. WB continues to amaze its captive audience with a trailer for Suicide Squad giving hungry fans a look at Deadshot, Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn and more. Oh, yeah, let’s not forget Jared Leto as The Joker! On the Marvel side of the street, Ryan Reynolds teases and thrills audiences with a crazy red-band trailer for Deadpool. Win!

And, to no one’s surprise, the weekend belongs to Star Wars VII. The main cast are all there including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. While a new trailer is not in the cards just yet, director J.J. Abrams amazes with a behind the scene featurette that hits all the right notes. Excellent!
