The Raid 2 is pure genius with its action, choreography and direction. The grue-crew each bring oppposing opinions on how successful the film is story-wise but the action itself is in a league all its own. Joining HNR this week is Brian Salisbury, writer and podcast who’s work you can find on, Film School Rejects,, Fandango and MoviePilot.

Thomas brings up Game of Thrones for the “What Have You Been Watching” segment this week with all its characters, dragons and weddings discussed. Dave chimes in with the Horror News of the Week about GodzillaJessabelle and True Blood.

Rama (Iko Uwais) returns to kick serious ass with Gareth Evans’ action thriller The Raid 2. The action and thrills are breathtaking with neck breaking speed and agility. It is astounding to watch. Brian Salisbury, from and Film School Rejects, joins the grue-crew to discuss the pacing, the plot and the characters in depth and detail. Everyone loves Hammer Girl and try to figure out if the film has more in common with Kill Bill or Bruce Lee’s Game of Death.

Dave Dreher  shares the Horror News of the Week beginning with more Godzilla news and footage from Wonder Con. Dave has the hots for the new Santanico Pandemonium from El Rey’s hit television show From Dusk Til Dawn. The next genre entry from Bluhouse, Jessabelle, get its poster, stills and trailer. Dave is impressed by the trailer for the final season of HBO’s True Blood. And, he is equally impressed with the the line of Jason Voorhees Horror Buddies from Horror Decor.

What Have You Been Watching: Game of Thrones
Red Weddings, Purple Weddings and Ned Stark top the discussion about Game of Thrones asThomas and Doc ramble and recap the first three seasons. Meanwhile, Santos, a bit lost, wonders when Billy Idol is going to appear singing White Wedding. Sigh. Dragons, betrayals, death, White Walkers and nudity all make their way into the extended GoT rap. Wow!
